Please note that certain majors at Edinboro University may have specific General Education course requirements for certain categories.  Please consult the Edinboro University Undergraduate Catalogue for such requirements.

A. Skills (12 SH)

ENGL 102	Writ/Research	=	ENG 205
MATH 104	Finite Math	=	(No equivalent, but can take higher level Math, eg. MAT 145, 160, 170, 200)
Computer Competency (CSCI 104)		=	(No equivalent, but can take higher level course, eg. CIT 112, 166)

B. Core (21 SH) Select one three-credit course from each area.

1. Artistic Expression: ENG 200, HUM 105, HUM 130
2. World Civilization: CIV 100, CIV 110, GEO 110
3. American Civilization: GOV 100, HIS 100, HIS 110
4. Human Behavior: ANT 100, PSY 100, COM 200
5. Cultural Diversity & Social Pluralism: ASL 101, FRE 101, GER 101, SPA 101, SOC 100
6. Ethics: HUM 110
7. Natural Science: BIO 105, CHM 105, AST 100, PHY 100 and PHY 101

C. Distribution (12 SH) Select two courses from one category. Within that category the two courses must be from the same discipline, i.e., if you select a French course for Humanities & Fine Arts, you must take a second French course to complete the six credits for that category. Then select one course from each of the two remaining categories.

1. Arts and Humanities:
   COM 101, ENG 215, ENG 225, ENG 230, ENG 235, ENG 240, ENG 245, FRE 102, HUM 120, SPA 102, SPA 203
2. Social and Behavioral Sciences:
   ECO 100, ECO 110, PSY 210, SOC 200
3. Natural Science and Mathematics:
   CHM 110, CIT 164, CIT 166, MAT 110, MAT 145, MAT 160, MAT 170, MAT 200, MAT 210, MAT 220

D. Health & Physical Education (2 SH – lecture, 1 SH – activity)

1. Health: LIF 111
2. Activity: No equivalent; must take at EUP
