Conflict Management Certificate

The Certificate in Conflict Management has been developed under the auspices of the Master of Arts in Communication Studies (MACS) Program in the Department of Communication and Media Studies at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. Completion of the five course (15 credit hour) Certificate will provide students with the analytical and practical skills necessary for mediating, negotiating and managing conflict that arises in their particular workplace and elsewhere. The Certificate is designed especially for those working in organizations and institutions where ongoing conflict, crisis events, grievances, or complaints impede the realization of goals and objectives and undermine productive relationship development internally and externally.

Admissions Requirements (if already admitted to the MACS program, see your advisor)

  1. Application submitted to the School of Graduate Studies and Research.
  2. $30.00 application fee [if not former EUP student]
  3. Official transcript reflecting a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution
  4. 2.8 Overall QPA or possess a master's degree
  5. Two letters of recommendation
  6. Statement of purpose.
