Pipe Band Scholarship

In order to perpetuate the tradition of the performance of the Scottish Arts through the medium of the pipe band at Edinboro University, a scholarship fund has been established. The purpose of the fund is to attract pipers and drummers to attend Edinboro and participate in the pipe band.  All donations can be directed to the Edinboro University Foundation, Alumni House, 210 meadville Street, Edinboro, PA 16444. Indicate "pipe band scholarship fund."

The scholarship is anticipated to be first awarded in the fall of 2007. Please help make this possible with your generous gift. Donations from EUP Alumni and Faculty are matched dollar for dollar!

Scholarship Update – May 22nd 2006

Fundraising efforts for the pipe band scholarship are going extremely well. Established in September of 2005, the fund is nearly half way to the endowment level of $10,000.  Thank you to those who have donated!

Scholarship Update – July 24th 2007

The Pipe Band Scholarship Fund has reached the endowment Level! Thanks to those individuals that have donated and made this a successful endeavor!

Our goal is to continue to grow the fund so as many individuals as possible can benefit. More scholarship donations will help the band attract talented musicians, and help these talented musicians afford their education. Your help is still needed, so please don’t hesitate to make a donation!
