EDINBORO, PA - Members of the Edinboro University men's and women's track team traveled to Raleigh, N.C. for Adidas Raleigh Relays at Paul Derr track on the campus of NC State University. Over one hundred collegiate teams and track clubs are in attendance for the two-day event.Edinboro completed its portion of the meet last night. Individual results were as follows:

Aaron Rowe (Dublin, OH/Dublin Scioto) ran fast enough to become a provisional qualifier for the NCAA Division II championships held in late May. Both Rowe and Nat Wibberley (Wyomissing, PA/Wyomissing) had previously qualified for the PSAC Championships in the 5,000 meters, but dropped significant time off their season's bests last night. Rowe dropped nearly 19 seconds off his previous qualifying time while Wibberley improved his time by more than 30 seconds. Wibberley also missed being an NCAA provisional qualifier by just 1.82 seconds. Rowe has also qualified for the PSAC Championships in the 1,500 meters race.
For the women, Kathy Breisch (Quakertown, PA/Quakertown) also provisionally qualified for the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships in her first outdoor attempt at the distance. Breisch is already a three-event qualifier for the conference championships. Ashley Hansen (Erie, PA/McDowell) rounded out the qualifiers; her time in the 5,000 meters will put her in the field at the PSAC Championships. She had previously qualified for the conference meet in the 3,000 meter event.
The Fighting Scots will also be in North Carolina next Friday and Saturday as they compete at the Duke Invitational April 6-7.
