FIGHTING SCOTS TO HOST EDINBORO DAY ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 11

Area Residents to Receive Free Admission for WVU Tech Contest

EDINBORO, PA - Edinboro University will host Edinboro Day on Saturday, September 11 at Sox Harrison Stadium, as the Fighting Scot football team will host WVU Tech in a 1:00 p.m. kickoff.

All Edinboro area residents and families, along with families from the McKean area, will receive free admission. In addition, there will be plenty of prizes and giveaways at halftime.

"We felt it was important to give something back to the community," noted Director of Athletics Bruce Baumgartner, who has coordinated the event along with Edinboro mayor Bob Cannell. "There is obviously a great deal of interaction during the school year with our students and the Edinboro community. This is our way of saying thank you to the people of Edinboro, while also providing them with some outstanding football action."
