This camp is designed for high school varsity and junior varsity girls basketball teams. However, individuals may sign-up and will be placed on an independent team in an appropriate grade/age level for competition. Teams consist of players's regular high school teams competing against each other in an atmosphere similar to regular season competition. The camp is conducive to individual improvement and team development. It is a great opportunity for each team to develop team chemistry while enhancing their game strategy for the next high school basketball season. Each team is guaranteed a minimum of six games with the possiblity of one or two more. PIAA officials will officiate each game during camp. There is a varsity league and a junior varsity league.
In addition to league games, there will be some individual competitions that each player may sign up for during camp. If coaches are interested, Coach Swank and staff will be available to discuss and demonstrate various aspects of basketball from academics and college life to rebounding to defenses to offensive sets and patterns. Campers will also have the opportunity to meet and discuss the college recruiting process with Fighting Scot team members and the coaching staff.
