7 Amelia Robinson One of the key players on the squad, and will either start at libero or outside hitter ... a co-captain who is a leader on the court and an extremely hard worker ... played libero in the spring and did very well ... has made great strides with her ball control, but coach Missy Soboleski feels she plays the left back so well that it is hard to take her out ... an extremely hard worker who is a very athletic player ... a Spanish Education major with a 3.93 GPA ... minoring in Psychology ... set season record for service aces a year ago, and ranks seventh in career service aces (117). 2005: Appeared in 145 games, setting a school record for service aces with 93 ... ranked second in the PSAC in service aces per game ... had 366 digs, good for third on the team ... set the school record for service aces in a game with 14 against Cheyney ... also had 9 against St. Anselm ... had a career-high 23 digs vs. Wayne State(MI), adding 15 on four occasions. 2004: Played in 94 games, totaling 156 digs and 16 service aces had season-high 14 digs against Lees-McRae, adding 12 against Clarion finished with 5 services aces against Cheyney. 2003: Saw limited action as a reserve outside hitter, playing in 18 games ... finished with 20 kills, including a season-high 6 against Shippensburg ... had 5 kills in win over Cheyney ... also recorded 7 service aces against Cheyney and had 10 digs. High School: Joined the Fighting Scots from Amherst Steele High School, where she was a two-year starter on the varsity for coach Laurie Cogan ... helped the Comets reach the district semifinals as a junior and senior, with the team finishing 20-3 last year and 19-6 her junior season ... was named a Lorain County All-Star and was also named to the All-Lorain County Academic Team her final two years ... played for the Toledo Volleyball Club.
