8 Breanna Smith Comes off an outstanding spring in which she made huge strides, and is regarded as the number outside hitter entering fall drills ... ball control improved tremendously ... a big hitter who is a very strong player and hits a heavy ball ... saw plenty of action as a freshman in 2004 ... brother Brian played baseball at Tiffin University. 2005: Played in 107 games, finishing fourth on the team with 230 kills ... was also fourth on the team in hitting percentage at .202 ... had 30 blocks ... had season-high 19 kills against IUP, along with 14 against Notre Dame(OH) and Clarion ... hit .684 vs. Clarion and .571 against Notre Dame. 2004: Finished second on the team in kills (308) and was third in blocks with 62, adding 123 digs registered a season-high 20 kills against Indiana(Pa.), adding 19 against Carson-Newman had 18 kills on two occasions, against California(Pa.) and Clarion in the season finale finished the year with double figures in kills in four of the last five matches had season-best 9 digs in earlier match with Clarion.
