HAROLD ARROWSMITH, 1932
Harold Arrowsmith for his outstanding
performances as both a football and basketball standout. Caught
the TD pass which gave Edinboro its first football victory over
Slippery Rock in 1931. Captained Edinboros best basketball
team (1931-32, 12-1) that won the Western Conference title.
ROBERT CAMP, 1930
Robert Camp for his outstanding leadership and
performances in both basketball and football where he captained
both teams. Tabbed by Sox Harrison as his coach on the floor
and is noted as Edinboros first exceptional play-making
guard. Directed Edinboros first official basketball campaign
in 1928-29 to an impressive 12-2 record.
BILL ENGH
Bill Engh for his long standing faithful and
unselfish support to Edinboro Universitys athletic program
during the past 40 years. In particular recognition for the
numerous events he has traveled to attend as an ardent fan of
Edinboro athletics.
CHUCK LODGE, 1952
Chuck Lodge for his outstanding accomplishments
both as a trackman and football player at Edinboro. Holds the
distinction of being a four-year football starter, who completed
his career as an All-State fullback for two seasons and was only
once-beaten in track.
JACK SINNOTT, 1959
Jack Sinnott for his outstanding success as a
wrestler where he never lost a dual match in three consecutive
seasons of competition at Edinboro. Won the 118-pound championship
at the famed Four I tournament in Cleveland, Ohio. A
highly successful high school wrestling coach and dedicated
official.
ROY STAUFFER, 1974
Roy Stauffer for his unparalled accomplishments
in both basketball and baseball at Edinboro where he was both an
All-Conference and All-American performer. Established the record
for the best foul shooting percentage in Edinboro history (88.2%)
and also set basketball marks for the most hits in a season (30)
and most hits in a game (5).
BERNIE TWARDOWSKI, 1958
Bernie Twardowski for his outstanding athletic
career at Edinboro where he lettered in football, wrestling and
track. Earned All-State football honors during both his junior and
senior years and was a Tri-State selection during his final season
when he captained the team. Voted the Outstanding Senior of
the Year in 1958 as a Sox Harrison Award Winner. |
