DON DOUGAN, 1968
Don Dougan for his achievements on the Edinboro basketball team from 1964-68. Started four consecutive seasons and led the squad to 53 victories. Averaged 12.7 points per game and 11.7 rebounds during his career. Ranks first in career rebounds (992) and twelfth in scoring (1,095). Named All-Conference and received the Sox Harrison Award in 1967-68.

DR. JAMES FLYNN, 1959
Dr. James Flynn for his outstanding support of Edinboro University tennis as a player and a coach. Compiled a 21-2 record during his last two seasons, playing on undefeated teams in 1958 and 1959. He guided the men’s tennis squad to an 83-18 record from 1981-85 and captured the ECAC title in 1983. Named Edinboro “Coach of the Year” the following year.

DR. RICHARD FORUCCI, 1964
Dr. Richard Forcucci for his leadership and playing excellence on the Edinboro University basketball squad from 1960-64. Earned the prestigious Sox Harrison Award as the school’s top male athlete in 164. Led the 1961-62 squad to the Western Division title of the Pennsylvania Conference averaging just under nine points per game. A professor at Edinboro since 1972.

GEORGE “WHITEY” GIESLER, 1932
George “Whitey” Giesler for his dedication to teaching and coaching in the Erie area. A 1932 graduate of Edinboro State Teachers College, “Whitey” played two years of basketball for the legendary Sox Harrison while lettering in track and field. An outstanding coach for over 20 years, George served as a teacher in the public school system for nearly 40 years.

DALE HRACH, 1971
Dale Hrach for his outstanding contributions as a wrestler and coach at Edinboro University. His 37 career victories on the mat make him one of the winningest wrestlers in EUP history. Served under Fred Caro for nine years during the 1970s as an unpaid assistant wrestling coach before moving on to high school coaching at Cambridge Springs.

BUD RULAND, 1955
Bud Ruland for his outstanding athletic career at Edinboro where he lettered in football, basketball and track. Earned All-Conference honors in both football and basketball his senior year when he captained both teams. Selected to Pittsburgh Press Half Century Football Team. In recognition of his continued achievements as a teacher, coach and Big Ten official.

FRED TROTT, 1959
Fred Trott for his outstanding athletic career at Edinboro where he lettered in track, football and wrestling. Earned all-conference honors in track all four years and all-state honors in his final three seasons. Captain of the track squad. “Outstanding Senior Athlete of the Year” in 1959. In recognition of his continued success as a track coach and sports official.
