FRED CASE, 1939
Fred Case for his outstanding career as a two-sport athlete for Edinboro State Teachers College in the late 1930s. Earned three letters each in football and basketball, playing under the legendary Sox Harrison. An Edinboro High School graduate where he earned 13 letters in track, football, basketball and baseball. Long-time educator, coach and sport official in the 1940s and 50s.

DAVE KNOWLTON, 1971
Dave Knowlton for his unselfish play for the Fighting Scot basketball team from 1969-71. Named to the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference All-Star squad twice. Holds Edinboro’s single-season assist record with 194, averaging 8.1 apg. His assist total ranks 6th on the all-time PSAC list, and his 19 assists in one game rank second in school and state history.

MARTY MANNING, 1961
Marty Manning for his outstanding career in the sport of wrestling at Edinboro from 1958-61. One of only two wrestlers in Fighting Scot history to win three PSAC championships, accomplishing the feat twice in the 177-pound weight class and once at 191. Registered 19 career pins to rank 9th all-time at the ‘Boro, earning nine wins by fall during the 1959-60 campaign.

BOB THURBON
Bob Thurbon for his long and prestigious athletic career as a coach and player. Directed the football and basketball programs at Edinboro in the late 1950s and is 4th on the all-time victory list as a head coach on the gridiron. Former All-American at the University of Pittsburgh and also played professional ball for the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 1940s.
