GREG BEARDSLEY, 1983
Greg Beardsley for his unparalleled running
career for the Scot cross country and track teams in the early
1980s. Sox Harrison Award winner in 1983 after capturing the NCAA
II individual cross country title. Five-time All-American and
two-time PSAC Athlete of the Year.
ALEX CREVAR, 1983
Alex Crevar for his gridiron accomplishments in
the 1930s. He later played local professional football for the
Warren Red Jackets. Twenty-year high school administrator,
previously earned Hall inductions from Aliquippa High School and
Western Pennsylvania Football Coaches Association.
DENNIS RICE, 1983
Dennis Rice for his impressive credentials as a
Fighting Scot runner in the 1980s. Captain of the 1981 NCAA
national runner-up squad, he earned All-American honors in cross
country and track. The prototype runner, he also
earned numerous All-PSAC and All-Regional honors.
GARY STANTON, 1979
Gary Stanton for his efforts on the Scots
basketball team from 1974-78. He led the Boro to 66 wins
during that time. Currently stands 12th on the all-time scoring
list with 1,177 points and third with 841 rebounds. Second in
career blocked shots. Was a yearly All-PSAC and District choice.
ROGER STUBBE, 1974
Roger Stubbe for his diamond accomplishments as a
member of the Scot baseball team in the early 1970s. He led the Boro
to its only PSAC crown in 1972. Was an All-District 18 choice for
four consecutive seasons and All-PSAC for three. Eighty-one career
hits and 34 stolen bases for the Scots. |
