MATT FUREY, 1987
Matt Furey for his outstanding performance as a member of the Fighting Scot wrestling program. A transfer from Iowa, he won the 1985 NCAA Division II National Championship at 167 pounds, and also earned All-American honors in 1986 with a fifth-place finish at Division II nationals. Won 39 matches in 1984-85, the third best single season total in Edinboro history. His 63 victories for 1984-86 ranked fifth all-time at Edinboro when he graduated.

MIKE HAHESY, 1987
Mike Hahesy for his outstanding performances as a member of the Fighting Scot wrestling program. A transfer from Iowa, he won the 1985 NCAA Division II National Championship at 185 pounds, and was the Division II runner-up in 1986 to earn All-American honors for a second time. His 71 career wins ranked second all-time at Edinboro. Recorded 38 wins in 1984-85, the sixth best single season total in Fighting Scot history.

DR. GARY MEANS
Dr. Gary Means for over a quarter century of dedicated support of raising scholarship monies for Edinboro University athletes. Under Dr. Mean’s direction, the Curly Halmi Memorial Athletic Scholarship Fund became the largest athletic scholarship endowment in Edinboro history. He also served on the Fighting Scots Booster Club, the Sox Harrison Board, the Scotsman Wrestling Club, the Hall of Fame Committee and he funds the Gary B. Means Athletic Scholarship.

DR. JAMES A. REED
Dr. James A. Reed for his dedicated service to Edinboro University as head wrestling coach, assistant football coach and dean of men from 1946-55. Played an instrumental role in establishing the wrestling program at Edinboro in the early 1940s, and in resurgence of Fighting Scots athletics following World War II. Led Edinboro to a runner-up finish at the 1946 PSAC Wrestling Championship. Inducted into the PSAC Wrestling Hall of Fame in 1983.

JEROME SIMON, 1974
Jerome Simon for his outstanding performances as a member of the Fighting Scot tennis program. One of the finest singles and doubles players in school history, captured five titles combined in the NAIA District 18 and PSAC. Led Fighting Scots to NCAA Division II national tournament appearances in 1970, 1972, and 1974. Served as a team captain for the 1974 squad. Went on to enjoy a distinguished career as a high school coach and tennis instructor.

TRACY WATSON, 1986
Tracy Watson for her outstanding performances as a member of the Fighting Scot cross country and track and field programs. Was a two-time NCAA Division II All-American in the 10,000 meters, while graduating with a perfect 4.0 QPA. Placed sixth in the 10,000 in 1986 and fifth in 1988 competing as a graduate student. Earned All-PSAC honors a total of six times in track and cross country, and All-Region honors in cross country twice.
