EDINBORO, PA Oddly enough, despite a
16-0 win over Shippensburg this past week, Edinboro fell in one
national poll, yet rose in another. The Fighting Scots and
Bloomsburg, another PSAC team, flipped spots in the AFCA Top 25.
Edinboro fell one spot to 21st, while Bloomsburg, a 27-0 winner
over Indiana(Pa.), moved to 20th. In the D2Football.com Top 25,
Edinboro moved up two spots to 11th.
Edinboro is now 3-1, with the lone setback a
23-21 defeat at East Stroudsburg on a 42-yard field goal with five
seconds left in the game. The Warriors are currently ranked third
in both polls.
Edinboro celebrates Homecoming on Saturday,
October 1, hosting Clarion. Kickoff is 2:00 p.m.
