EDINBORO, PA - The Edinboro University football
team dropped two spots to ninth in the latest NCAA Division II
Northeast Region rankings. The Fighting Scots were ranked seventh
a week ago, but suffered a 36-26 loss at California(Pa.).
Edinboro is now 4-2. The Fighting Scots play at
Indiana(Pa.) on Saturday, October 15. The Indians have a 3-3
record and are ranked tenth in the region. Edinboro is in search
of its third straight NCAA Division II Playoff berth, but will
need some help if it is to be one of the six teams headed for
postseason action. The Scots other loss was a 23-21 decision at
second-ranked East Stroudsburg.
