EDINBORO, PA – Edinboro University senior
Alicia Knouff (Louisville, OH/Louisville) has been named
the PSAC West Volleyball Player of the Week. Knouff has played a
major role in helping Edinboro rally from a 7-12 start to run off
eight straight wins and improve to 15-12.
A 6’1” middle hitter, Knouff helped
the Fighting Scots to a 4-0 week, including a five-game win over
Indiana(Pa.) to give Edinboro its first PSAC West win. The
Fighting Scots then defeated Cheyney, Kutztown and Millersville
this weekend while hosting the PSAC Crossover Tournament. For the
week she ended with 45 kills with only 11 errors, adding 3 block
solos and 9 block assists.
Knouff led the Scots to the win over IUP with
15 kills, 6 digs, a pair of block solos and 6 block assists. She
added 16 kills, 3 service aces and 3 block assists in a five-game
win over Kutztown, then had 10 kills as Edinboro defeated
Millersville in three games.
The Fighting Scots are back in action on
Tuesday, October 11, playing at California(Pa.). |
