EDINBORO, PA - The Edinboro University football
team moved up two spots to seventh in the latest NCAA Division II
Northeast Region rankings. The Fighting Scots were ranked ninth a
week ago, and moved up following a 20-10 victory over then
tenth-ranked Indiana(Pa.).
Edinboro is now 5-2. The Fighting Scots host
Slippery Rock in a key PSAC West contest on Saturday, October 22.
Coach Lou Tepper's team, now 3-1 in league play, is in search of
its third straight PSAC West title, and currently tied with
California(Pa.) for first place. Slippery Rock and IUP are both
2-1.
