EDINBORO, PA - Edinboro climbed four spots in
the latest D2Football.com Top 25 following last week's 33-7
triumph over Kutztown. The 7-2 Fighting Scots are now 20th after
being ranked 24th a week ago.
Edinboro dropped out of the AFCA Division II
Top 25 three weeks ago, but it is now inching back towards the Top
25. Still listed among "Others Receiving Votes", the
Fighting Scots are the top team in that category with 30 points,
and are just a spot away from returning to the poll. Most
importantly, Edinboro has moved into sixth place in the NCAA
Division II Northeast region rankings.
Edinboro concludes its regular season on
Saturday, November 25 at Lock Haven. Kickoff is 1:00 p.m. A
victory will assure Edinbor of its third straight PSAC West title.
