EDINBORO, PA – The Lock Haven volleyball
team defeated visiting Edinboro on Saturday by scores of 30-21,
30-21, and 30-18. The Fighting Scots fall to 5-7 overall and 1-1
in the PSAC West, while the Lady Eagles are now 6-3 overall and
2-0 in PSAC West action.
Jenna Newman (Las Vegas, NV/Coronado)
and Olivia Williams (Barberton, OH/Barberton) led Edinboro
with 8 kills apiece, with Williams contributing a service ace.
Ashley Cottengim (Fairport, NY/Fairport) had 20 assists
and 2 block assists, while Amelia Robinson (Amherst,
OH/Amherst Steele) totaled 5 digs.
Edinboro is back in action on Tuesday,
September 19, playing at Slippery Rock.
