The Fighting Scots volleyball team opened play
in the PSAC Crossover Volleyball Tournament Friday at
Shippensburg, with EU defeating its hosts in a five-game thriller.
Scores were 30-26, 30-23, 22-30, 25-30, 15-11. Edinboro improves
to 17-12, 3-4 PSAC.
Complete stats will not be available until
Monday, but leaders in this first match were:
- Olivia Williams -14 kills
- Jenna Newman - 12 kills, 6 blocks
- Kristen Perkins - 12 kills, 10 digs
- Ashley Cottengim - 49 assists
- Amelia Robinson - 12 digs
Play continues Saturday as the team faces West
Chester and East Stroudsburg. Edinboro comes home for a Tuesday
night match when they host Lock Haven. First serve is at 7:00 p.m. |
