EDINBORO, PA – Due to unplayable field
conditions at Sox Harrison Stadium, Edinboro University’s
football game against Shippensburg on Saturday, November 4 has
been moved to Frank B. Fuhrer Field on the campus of Allegheny
College in Meadville, PA.
Kickoff will remain at 1:00 p.m. , and there
will be no admission charge.
“With the heavy rainfall in October and
last night’s snowfall, our field conditions were very poor
and would not have allowed for a quality game for either team or
the fans,” noted Director of Athletics Bruce Baumgartner.
“We greatly appreciate Allegheny’s
cooperation and look forward to playing at their new field.”
