EDINBORO, PA – Edinboro University senior
Daren Tielsch (McKees Rocks, PA/Montour) became the 24th Fighting
Scot to score 1,000 career points on Wednesday night in a 63-57
win over Mercyhurst.
Tielsch now has 1,001 career points in three
seasons at Edinboro and 1,116 points overall, including a season
at Penn State. Unfortunately for Tielsch, he spent almost the
final eleven minutes on the bench after fouling out. He ended the
night with 6 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. He had a streak of
13 straight games in double figures come to end.
