Brooke Heath finished sixth
in the 200-yard IM and for her performance earned All-American
status |
EDINBORO, PA – Edinboro University’s
Brooke Heath opened the 2007 NCAA Division II Swimming &
Diving National Championships with an All-American performance.
The Nationals opened yesterday at the Flickinger Athletic Center
in Buffalo, NY. The Nationals run through Saturday, March 17.
Heath finished sixth in the 200-yard IM with a
time of 2:07.25. It marked the sixth time the junior has earned
All-American honors, and the second time in the 200-yard IM. A
year ago she finished fifth in the event.
Heath will still compete in the 100 and
200-yard breaststroke events. She finished second in both events a
year ago, and is a two-time All-American in both events.
