EDINBORO, PA The Edinboro University mens
and womens cross country teams are both ranked in the top 25
in the latest U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches
Association (USTCCCA) Division II Rankings.
The mens team holds down the 13th spot in
the national rankings. The Fighting Scots finished first in their
lone meet, defeating a field of eleven teams in the Bill Sudeck
Classic, hosted by Case Western Reserve. Slippery Rock is the top
ranked mens team, sitting in the eighth position. Lock Haven
is ranked 19th.
The womens harriers are ranked 15th, one
of four PSAC squads in the top 25. Kutztown is ranked 12th,
Bloomsburg 18th, and Slippery Rock is 20th. Edinboros lone
competition was a fourth place finish out of 14 teams at the Bill
Sudeck Classic.
The fighting Scots return to action on
Saturday, September 15, competing in the Wisconsin-Parkside
Midwest Classic.
