the Athletic Department is recognizing its all-time teams in a
variety of sports. Previous All-Time Teams announced include
football, volleyball, womens soccer, and mens and
womens basketball.
Today we present the All-Time Wrestling Team. A
total of twenty former wrestlers were selected. The group is
highlighted by two of Edinboros three Division I national
champions. Josh Koscheck is Edinboros lone four-time
All-American, and captured the national championship at 174 lbs.
in 2001. He finished with a 128-17 career record, including 42-0
in 71. Sean ODay was Edinboros first Division I
national champion, winning the 134 lb. title 1989. He was a
three-time All-American, going 116-23-2 for his career.
The team also includes three wrestlers who won

and one NAIA national champion. Leading the way is heavyweight

to finish fourth at the Division I nationals that year. He finish
as a three-time All-American on the Division I level. Mike Hahesy,
currently an assistant coach with the Fighting Scots, won the
Division II championship in 1985 at 158 lbs., and was the
runner-up in 1986. Matt Furey was a two-time Division II
All-American, winning the national championship in 1985. Tom Herr
was the NAIA heavyweight national champion in 1973.

highest finish second place at 190 lbs. in 1998. Tom Shifflet is
also a three-time All-American, all at 142 lbs.
Six other wrestlers on the All-Time Team earned
All-American accolades twice. Most recently it was Shawn Bunch,
who finished as the national runner-up at 133 lbs. in 2005 and was
third in 2006. Tony Robie also narrowly missed capturing a
national title, finishing second at 158 lbs. in 1997 after a fifth
