The Edinboro University sports medicine staff
provides service to the student-athletes on the Edinboro campus
throughout the week. On game day, the staff also provides service
to opposing teams, e.g., sideline amenities, as well as emergency
medical assistance.

- Patrick Leary is a provider at St
Vincent Sports Medicine in Erie, PA. He is a 1976 graduate
of the University of Notre Dame, where he worked as a team
physician for the previous ten years. He received his
medical degree from the Kansas State University of Medicine
and BioScience and post doc training at Cuyahoga Falls
General Hospital in Akron, OH, his hometown. Dr Leary
presently is a team physician for Mercyhurst College and
Edinboro University of PA. He has a certification in Family
Practice, Sports Medicine, and Geriatrics. He is a faculty
provider for the Saint Vincent Sports Medicine Fellowship
and mentor to medical students at Lake Erie College of
Osteopathic Medicine.
