League Championships will take place at Edinboro, PA, March 4-5,
2006. Sessions will be held in McComb Fieldhouse on the campus of
Edinboro University.

West Virginia Holds Narrow Lead Over
Edinboro After First Day of EWL Tournament
West Virginia is in the lead after two sessions of the 31st
Annual Eastern Wrestling League Tournament being held at Edinboro
University. The Mountaineers advanced five wrestlers to Sunday’s
finals. Edinboro, the defending champion, is lurking close behind,
2.5 points out of the lead.

Preview
Edinboro University will host the 31st Annual Eastern Wrestling
League Tournament this coming Saturday and Sunday. Edinboro seeks
its fourth straight EWL title and eighth in the last nine years
and enters the tournament as again the favorite.

EWL Hall of Fame to Induct Five New Members
on Sunday
The Eastern Wrestling League will hold its 2006 induction
ceremonies on Sunday, March 5 at 4 p.m. in the McComb Fieldhouse.
Former Director of Athletics Jim McDonald will join wrestling
greats Josh Koscheck, Tony Robie, Jason Robison, and Tom Shifflet.
