Description:  Prepare and present interpretive programs to a variety of audiences; assist in design and writing of interpretive leaflets; assist in development and maintenance of public use facilities including brochures, hiking trails, interpretive exhibits, signs, and kiosks.  Greet the visiting public and provide advice on refuge activities and wildlife viewing opportunities.  40 hrs./wk. from 6/1 - 8/22/03.  $150 wk./stipend plus communal housing.

Qualifications:  Must maintain a valid drivers license; must have ability to communicate orally for the purpose of giving educational and interpretive presentations and conducting refuge tours and greeting the public; must be able to work independently and with other individuals; and must be able to apply knowledge of the environment, biology, and related subjects to outdoor recreation programs.
