WAYS TO GIVE

Just as there is more than one reason to provide financial support to students, there is more than one way to do it.  Edinboro University provides assistance to our students with funding from the following sources:

SCHOLARSHIP SUPPORT

To lessen students’ financial worries, allowing them to focus on what college is really about – academics.

Endowed Scholarships

Endowed scholarship funds are used exclusively for financial assistance in perpetuity.  Gifts to these funds are invested in the University’s endowment, and the earnings above the scholarships awarded accrue to the funds, providing generations of students with assistance.  The more endowed funds Edinboro University has, the better it can compete with other schools for the best students.

Annually Funded Scholarships

An Annual Scholarship Award provides a one-time motivating benefit to a deserving student.  With a gift of $1,000, you may direct your generosity toward an academic discipline, honor students, athletics or other focus when determining the awarding criteria.

Ambassador School District Scholarships

The Edinboro University Ambassador Scholarship Program is an important new program established for the purpose of securing annual funds to recruit outstanding incoming freshmen from the school district of your choice.  A minimum gift for an annual award is $500.00 and we ask that you make a three-year commitment to this program as well as name a specific school district.

UNRESTRICTED SUPPORT

Annual unrestricted support is an opportunity for alumni, parents, and friends to support Edinboro University each year.  Investing in Edinboro will make an immediate impact throughout our campus.  Your contribution enables current programs to continue and new initiatives to begin – creating a vibrant campus community that will enhance the Edinboro University experience for generations of students.

STUDENT LIFE

To support the many extra curricular activities that give balance to students’ lives: athletics, culture and arts, library, publications, jut to name a few.

TEACHING AND LEARNING

To support faculty members and specific academic programs seeking to expand and enrich their curriculum, involve students in their research, and innovate in the classroom.

PLANNED GIVING

Planned Giving is a very special tool of philanthropy.  It’s reserved for those individuals and families with both clear vision and a sense of deep conviction – with an eye on both the near- and the long-term.
