Establishing a scholarship is a simple process that can be accomplished in several ways depending on the wishes of the donor(s).  Through the University Scholarship Program, each donor can share in an individual student's achievement.  Endowments also offer the opportunity for a donor to provide recognition or memorialize an individual or family member, often a person who figured significantly in one's own success along the way.

Scholarships address a wide variety of academic interests and student needs.   Many students rely on scholarship awards to provide the financial resources needed to pursue their chosen field of study. While helping to defray costs, a scholarship communicates to the student that the community has invested in his or her future.

Establishing a new annual award, a named scholarship endowment, or contributing to one of hundreds of existing scholarships is wonderful way to support excellence at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.
