This scholarship is presented to an entering freshman with a minimum SAT score of 1000 and upper 2/5 class rank in high school. This scholarship is awarded annually and is renewable for up to four years, providing the recipient remains enrolled full-time in a course of study leading to a BA degree in history or geography or a BS degree in secondary social studies. Recipient must maintain a cumulative QPA of 3.3 for each academic year enrolled.
This scholarship provides an annual award to a senior earth science major who has exhibited high academic achievement to help defray the cost of summer field camp. Financial need may be a factor.
This scholarship provides funds to a geosciences major who demonstrates service to the department and active participation in the Earth Science Club.
This scholarship was established by Dr. Michael Schneider, a professor in the Geosciences Department of Edinboro University for over 34 years. The recipient must be a Geosciences major and a participant of the Geology Summer Field Camp Program. The student must sign the Pre-Award Eligibility Acknowledgement in January to be considered for this award.
