DEBRA HUDEK BEMILLER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship was created in memory of Debra Hudek, by her husband Stephen. Mrs. Hudek graduated from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in 1976; received a master’s degree in Educational Psychology in 1977 and completed the School Psychology Certificate Program in 1979. The recipient of this award must be pursuing a master’s degree in the Educational Psychology Program or certification in the School Psychology Program. The student must have a minimum 3.5 QPA in graduate coursework to be eligible. Prospective students must complete an application and submit a one-page essay (double-spaced) explaining career goals, which will be evaluated by the Scholarship Committee. The student must also submit a resumé and a recommendation letter from a faculty member in the Special Education/School Psychology Department.
Dr. Kathryn Glenn served as a professor in the Edinboro University Special Education and School Psychology Department. This scholarship was created in tribute to Dr. Glenn and to provide increased support to students who are dedicated to the profession of school counseling. The recipient must be enrolled full-time, have a minimum 3.0 QPA, and be pursuing a degree in the Educational Psychology Program or certification in the School Psychology Program. This scholarship can only be awarded during the fall and/or spring semesters. Financial need may be a factor.

Freshman Qualifications
The student must have graduated from high school in the top 40 percent of his/her class. Financial need may be a factor. If there are multiple students with identical credentials, the student with the greatest need must be awarded. This award is not renewable.
Upperclass Qualifications (One $50 Award)
The student must be one of the top five graduating seniors with a minimum of 96 earned credits. If the student has transferred from another university, a minimum of 50% of the credits must be earned from Edinboro and the student must have completed four required psychology courses at Edinboro. Financial need is not a factor. This award is not renewable.
DR. JIM AWARD FOR NEURAL AND BEHAVIORAL SCIENCES
This scholarship was developed in memory of Dr. James S. Miller, a former faculty member in the Psychology Department. The recipient of this award must have a minimum of 96 credits with 32 credits having been completed at
PAULINE F. MILLES SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship is offered to an undergraduate psychology major who has completed a minimum of 64 credit hours of study and has a cumulative QPA of 3.3 or greater. Financial need is also a factor. This scholarship is renewable for the senior year of study as long as the recipient continues to meet the established criteria.
The funds for this scholarship were provided by Florence Ohler, a relative of Denise Ohler.
Upperclass Student Qualifications (One $1,000 Award):
The recipient must be enrolled full-time majoring in psychology, sociology, or social work. The student must have a minimum of 32 earned undergraduate credits and a minimum cumulative QPA of 3.5. Financial need may be a factor. The scholarship is renewable through the completion of 128 credits provided the following qualifications are met: the student remains enrolled on a full-time basis; maintains a minimum cumulative QPA of 3.5; and must demonstrate academic progress as determined by FAFSA.
This scholarship was created by Employees, alumni, and friends of the University to support students studying in the Edinboro University Special Education and School Psychology Department. The recipient must be a Special Education or School Psychology major (pursuing an Associate of Arts, Bachelor of Science in Education or Masters of Education), be enrolled full-time, and shall have a minimum QPA of 3.0. The scholarship can only be awarded during the fall and/or spring semesters and is not transferable. Financial need may be a factor.
DR. JAMES S. B. TAN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship is awarded to a student who is enrolled full-time in the school psychology master's program, has earned a minimum of 18 credits with a minimum cumulative QPA of 3.0, demonstrates financial need, and submits an essay and resume. This scholarship can only be awarded during the Fall and/or Spring semesters.
