| Criteria: | 1. The applicant must be an undergraduate college student |
| 2. The applicant's family must reside in Western Pennsylvania | |
| 3. The applicant must have a GPA of 2.75 | |
| 4. The applicant must have previous coursework in a Western Pennsylvania | |
| institution of learning | |
| 5. The applicant must be interested in interning in a Western Pennsylvania | |
| Congressional office; executive and administrative office of the federal | |
| government; in the legislative bodies and executive and administrative | |
| offices of local governments; or in the national, state and local offices | |
| of the political parties. | |
