Veteran Educational Benefits and Financial Aid Requirements

Federal regulations require many of the benefits received by military personnel, veterans, and/or their dependents to be reported on the FAFSA.  Please refer to the information below to ensure that you have reported your information to prevent late adjustments to your financial aid.

Accrues at the rate of 1 month for each month of active duty up to 36 months.  Cannot exceed 48 months when combined with another chapter.

Chapter 1607 Reserve Educational Assistance  Program (REAP)

 

(Chapter 1606 basic eligibility called to active duty due to war or national emergency as declared by President or Congress)
