Graduate Assistantships
Eligibility for an Assistantship Graduate assistantships are awarded to well-qualified students who have been admitted to a master's degree program. Departmental awards are made competitively. To receive fullest consideration, students must be admitted into the master's program by the assistantship deadline. The following must be met in order to be eligible for assistantship:
Submission Deadlines Submit assistantship application by the deadline for the semester in which you are interested.
Two types of Graduate Assistantships are available.
Assistantships in residential life also include a waiver of charges for a private room in the residence hall and a telephone. A limited number of prorated Assistantships are available for the summer.
