Edinboro University provides a comprehensive international program encompassing a wide variety of programming and services to international and domestic students and the surrounding communities. It also provides educational opportunities in cooperation with colleges and universities abroad.

International Students

In the Fall 2007 semester Edinboro University of Pennsylvania had 82 international students from 30 different countries. This special population brings global diversity to our campus and community.

The International Student Services Office is responsible for the recruitment, matriculation and retention of this student group. The Office is available to the international students in all capacities; immigration matters, academic and personal support, orientation and acclimation to the USA and university life.

We benefit from the International students as they provide the campus community the opportunity to learn about other cultures.

Study Abroad

The first step for any Edinboro University student who is interested in a study abroad experience is to visit in the International Student Services Office. The International Student Services Office assists students in clearing their study abroad plans through the University and in understanding Edinboro's policies on study abroad. After initial visits, students may schedule appointments to receive individualized guidance in planning an international educational experience. This experience can range from a short-term experience (2 to 5 weeks) or a semester or year abroad experience.
