Language Bridge Program
Summer 2008
August 3-20, 2008Edinboro University of Pennsylvania is offering an ESL Bridge Program for accepted international students who would like to improve their academic English and become familiar with our campus prior to the start of the Fall 2008 semester. This program is also available to students wishing to pursue a bachelor's degree, with a TOEFL score between 475-499 (paper based), 153-170 (computer based) or 53-60 (internet based) who would like to enroll at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. Upon successful completion of the bridge program, students who previously scored 475-499 are guaranteed enrollment in Edinboro University of Pennsylvania for the fall semester. The overall goal of this bridge program is to prepare students for university coursework.
Please be aware, this is not an intensive English program for students who wish to study only English. It is an academic support program for students who have been admitted or conditionally admitted to the University.

Application Process:
- Submit a completed International Application and all other required documents to the Undergraduate Admissions Office
- Complete the Edinboro University of Pennsylvania Bridge Program Application
- Submit an official TOEFL score
Students in the 475-499 TOEFL score range will be offered "conditional" admission. After successfully completing the Bridge Program, students are eligible to begin regular credit courses at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in the Fall semester. The cost of this program is $2,500.00 (USD).
All international students are required to attend the mandatory Fall Orientation, August 21-22, 2008.
