MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. AWARDS LUNCHEON

   The Martin Luther King, Jr. Awards Luncheon is a reception in which Edinboro University recognizes regional citizens who have challenged the systems that were designed to deny access to basic human rights and privileges. It seeks to honor individuals who have made a significant impact on society and possess a history of service and involvement. The event will be held February 22, 2008 at 12:00 PM in Van Houten North, and is free of charge. Please RSVP by February 15, 2008, guests will be added on a first come, first serve basis. EBONY EXCELLENCE AWARDS CEREMONY AND SOUL FOOD DINNER

   The Ebony Excellence Awards Ceremony and Soul Food Dinner are one of the highlights of our Black History Month celebration. It will include a program where Edinboro University presents the 2008 Ebony Excellence Man, Woman, and Staff/Faculty Member of the Year awards. The event will be held February 11, 2008 at 5:30 PM in Van Houten South. Students who have meal plans will utilize one meal for the dinner, students without meal plan will be charged $5, and staff and faculty will be charged $10. Please RSVP by February 6, 2008 by contacting the Multicultural Programs Office at (814) 732-2912. If you know of a person that you would like to nominate for one of these awards, complete the attached form and submit it to the Multicultural Programs Office at 201 Pogue Center by 4:00 PM Friday, February 1, 2007.
