Being an Officer in the U.S. Army is not rocket science or brain surgery—it’s harder!  It means you’re a leader, motivator, organizer, advisor, team-builder, counselor, compassionate aid-giver, and political-military strategist all rolled into one.  Upon commissioning you immediately become a vital member of a high-tech, global organization responsible for the security of our nation.  You will be challenged with complex situations and ever-changing environments.

Edinboro University of Pennsylvania Army ROTC trains and develops young men and women for responsibility of our nation’s most precious asset—it’s Soldiers.

If you are an intelligent, motivated and disciplined individual who wants a little more from their university experience, please take a moment to think about the opportunities available to you through the EUP Army ROTC program.  Our Officer graduates distinguish themselves as scholars, athletes, community and campus leaders, and role models.

You have the option to sign-up for ROTC classes with no military service obligation until your Junior year.  This allows you to become familiar with ROTC and the roles and responsibilities of Officers.  Then you have the ability to make an informed choice before seeking a commission.  While in the program, you will participate in activities such as rappelling, marksmanship, and survival training.  You will learn to work, learn and grow as a member of a team and will form bonds with other students that will last a lifetime.  And, the leadership skills gained from ROTC can be applied to whatever you choose to do throughout your life.

Take the challenge—you won’t regret it!
