My Fellow Students,

Let me be the first to welcome you back to what will be a landmark year for Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.  As you all know, our campus is currently undergoing massive changes.  Projects such as the renovation of the Frank G. Pogue Student Center and Sox Harrison Stadium will bring new and exciting additions to our campus.  Certainly, this is a very special time for all members of the Edinboro Family.

Edinboro students will interact and exchange ideas in the intellectual free market place we call the University.  Students will dive headfirst into the richness of academic fulfillment and achievement they find here.  Those who are leaving us in December and May will enjoy a competitive edge when looking for employment in our corner of Pennsylvania and the region.

But this exchange of ideas does not come from classroom time alone.  Here at Edinboro, we take pride in our rich and diverse community.  SGA recognizes over 100 organizations and programs with missions ranging from cultural exploration to philosophical inquiry and debate.  All of these opportunities are afforded to you, the student, so that you may have the richest of undergraduate experiences.  I hope all of you will take a selfish advantage of all Edinboro has to offer you this year.
