For the third consecutive year, we are pleased to serve as co-chairs of the Parents and Families Organization (PFO).  We look forward to greeting you when we meet on Saturday, October l4, during the Edinboro Family Weekend Fall Fest.  We encourage everyone to attend and participate in the festivities, spend time with your student and enjoy our beautiful campus in the fall.  Additional information is on the last page of this newsletter.   As a parent, you must be tremendously proud of the effort and accomplishments that have brought your child so far.  Since the day that acceptance letter arrived in the mail and welcomed your child to the Edinboro Family, he or she has embarked on an extraordinary adventure filled with memories and opportunities that will last a lifetime.  We are all vital partners in providing this wonderful experience to your son or daughter and to the entire Edinboro student body.    The purpose of the PFO is to promote positive parent and family relations and to provide a forum for parent and family views and suggestions.   We strive to provide advocacy and a communication link between the University, present and future students, and their parents and families.  Members of the Parents and Families Organization should be goodwill ambassadors who are interest in informing other parents and family members about the interests and needs of the students.
